Faucaria tuberculosa or more commonly know as Pebbled Tiger Jaws is a prehistoric-looking succulent. As it produces its new fang shaped leaves it looks fierce but in fact, it is quite soft to touch.
They respond to watering in the winter, so water once soil drys.
Faucaria tuberculosa grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Leaves are arranged in opposite pairs, dark green, scattered in rough white tubercles over the upper surface, and edged with soft white structures that look like teeth. They are ovate-triangular in the top view, up to 1 inch (2,5 cm) long and up to 0.8 inches (2 cm) wide. Flowers are yellow, daisy-like, and up to 1.6 inches (4 cm) in diameter.
Ideal Conditions: Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining soil or compost.
Possible Situation: Perfectly suited for planting in gravel gardens, paved areas, rockeries and small containers. Try mixing with other succulents and alpines.
