With its attractive leaf rosettes, this cultivar is an interesting addition to a mixed gravel garden for its interesting flower bracts that appear in spring and summer. This evergreen, succulent cultivar has a spreading growth habit and it is commonly grown as an indoor plant. The fleshy leaves are coloured light green to pink and the colouration becomes more dramatic with more sunlight. Purple coloured flowering spikes are produced with showy modified leaves surrounding them known as bracts.
'Duchess of Nuremberg' _ 'Duchess of Nuremberg' is a low-growing, evergreen perennial forming succulent rosettes of pink-flushed, grey-green, spoon-shaped leaves and panicles of coral pink to pale orange flowers upon wiry stems in summer.
Commonly called Echeveria ‘Perle von Nuremberg’.
